boring (doesn't that get you excited for an enticing read?)
I like writing. Writing in a journal is boring so why not write here? Plus I'd rather type. Work was dull today. Not the kind of dull where there is really nothing to do. Instead, the kind of dull where I stopped for thirty seconds during my busy day and realized that I spend forty + hours a week doing something that betters the world in exactly ZERO ways. Yeah, I'm sure I could search and pontificate on how my function as an electrical manufacturers inside sales representative helps spread electricity through the US, but really do they need my help for that? I used to be a social worker, poured too much of my life into it and burned myself out so now I talk to contractors and other macho, homophobes all day. It makes me miss the relatively sane people I worked with as a case manager. But anyway, enough rambling today. I'm boring myself and expect more from myself tomorrow.
